In 2001, Aurios introduced the Series 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and Pro Media Isolation Bearings (MIBs). These bearings quickly became the standard by which every other isolation bearing would be compared.
Today, Aurios offers two Media Isolation Bearings – the Aurios Pro Max Bearing and the Aurios Classic Bearing. The manner in which the bearings alter body wave transmissions is a function of material selection, surface harness, and material volume, to name just a few of the parameters that will impact how the sound/image is reproduced. However, in all instances, the results are dramatic.

Aurios is proud to introduce the Pro-Max. The Pro Max replaces the Aurios Pro bearing, and is engineered to offer the same high performance and at a very attractive price.

The Classics have a loyal following. Lacking the girth of the Pro Max bearings, this slimmed down model is the most popular bearing in the Aurios product line.

This Ball Decoupler and 1/2” Tungsten Carbide Ball will fit both the Pro Max and Classic Bearings.
